Jayco Jay Feather Travel Trailers built on a Norco frame may be equipped with hitch plates secured with our Huck® fasteners to accommodate a 2″ hitch receiver that spans the width of the frame for superior strength.

The BAL supplied accessory hitch will support a 250 lb. capacity under the following conditions:
• The accessory hitch should never be used to tow another trailer.
• With the trailer fully loaded and not exceeding GVWR, the trailer’s tongue weight should not be less than 10% of the gross vehicle weight for proper towing characteristics.
• The further the center of mass extends rearward from the accessory hitch, the less capacity the accessory hitch can withstand.
•Use the chart to determine the maximum accessory hitch capacity based off distance load is applied rearward of hitch.
• Applying any load centered more than 36” rearward of the hitch is not recommended.
• Increasing weight loaded on the accessory hitch decreases the unit’s tongue load. This is most noticeable on shorter/lighter weight units. Insufficient tongue load may lead to undesirable towing characteristics.
• Never exceed listed GVWR of the trailer.
